Genital warts results from infection with HPV (human papilloma virus).

People may come down with genital warts easily when the body’s natural immune ability reduces or when there’s debility feel. There are more early HPV infections, known as HPV latent infection, in addition to the subclinical HPV-infection. In order to reduce the recurrence of genital warts, it is required to note the following points:

1. The recurrence of genital warts may be due to other STD (sexually transmitted diseases) from which patients are suffering, and thus, in the treatment of genital warts, a thorough examination about STD should be undergone, if there’re other sexually transmitted diseases, it must be comprehensive inspected and treated.
2. The recurrence of genital warts may also because of the subclinical HPV-infection, so 5% acetic acid can be applied to check for definitive treatment in treating.

Latent HPV-infection can also lead to the recurrence of genital warts. Latent HPV-infection can cause non-lesional skin to generate new clinical and subclinical lesions. After using liquid nitrogen to freeze warts or CO2 laser to remove local warts, cells infected HPV around the cankerous skin may enable the original lesions to occur new lesions.
